How about allowing us to swap which hand holds the weapon? There could be an option similar to what helmets and capes have that gives the option of Left Handed, Right Handed, and Show Weapons in towns.

not a horrible idea, but the amount of effort that would have to go into such a purely minor cosmetic change makes me think that the chances of this suggestion falling on dead ears is 99%

I believe the notion has been mentioned before about handiness. Would be nice, but I'd rather some bug fixes before cosmetics.

It's a lot of work too.

Also, a lot of warrior armor is designed to have a weapon in the right hand, and a shield in the left hand. In fact, the only symetrical armor for warriors in the game is fissure armor and wyvern/dragon armor.

It's not a lot work - u can have this effect by making animations mirror... that's all. U don't need to mirror character models so armor look will not change.

Well, some armors aren't symmetrical... Gladiator's armor is a good example. What happens when you switch the shield and weapon then?
